ioRAID Hard Disk External Enclosures

Product Description: Rugged Solid Aluminium construction, the ioRAID external hard drive enclosures are made to out last the competitions

IDE / Parallel ATA
Available in 2.5" Mobile or 3.5" Desktop configuration, with internal IDE / ATA connectors, and externally there are 2 Firewire 400 or 800 ports and One USB 2 mini B port. Fanless for an ultra quite operation.

3.5" version has a unique suspension system that suspend the hard disk in the air, offering impact cushion in case of accidents. (supports up to 500GB without fan).

SATA / Serial ATA
Available in 2.5" Mobile or 3.5" Desktop configuration, with internal Serial ATA (SATA 1/2 compatible) connectors, and externally there are 2 Firewire 800 ports, One FW400 port and one USB 2 port.

3.5" version has a unique suspension system that suspend the hard disk in the air, offering impact cushion in case of accidents.

NOTE: Firewire Bus-Power is available on 2.5" mobile enclosures only. USB 2 and eSATA does not provide sufficient bus power for the enclosures to power up the drive without mains power. 3.5" desktop enclosures will always require mains power.
